Technically if you wanted to, you could make an automation track for an amplitude envelope, similar to the feature built into the Hiesen, and then just automate the volume to get the release right

I want the bass to hit hard with the kicks, then fade out a bit. So Probably a mixture of both, but a little more staccato. Thanks for the tip about the P EQ's, I had no idea. I always try and use them to hollow out my sounds, but but couldn't figure out why it was unnoticable.

hmmm. Oh and btw, P EQ's don't do anything unless you turn the gain knob up or down. Just something I noticed. Are you wanting like a continuous bass, or kind of a staccato bass?
