If anyone is wondering, "Why would the title of a synthwave song be a year before 1980?" 1957 is the year the first artificial satellite to orbit the Earth was successfully launched by the Soviet Union. Since then the world changed forever, and I thought of this composition playing over a fitting compilation of Space Race footage from 1957 to 1975 rather than a DMC DeLorean being driven on a highway in Miami at sunset.
Most samples and some devices were left unused in this track.
