    Here's the thing tho (and this might come off strong): You don't HAVE to have a clap, you don't HAVE to make all the basslines quarter notes. And if that is your take away from listening to whomever, then it's time to branch out. More than likely they're either generic as fuck or they just like that basic flow (I fall into both of these). I like what you do and the idea that you can make cooler stuff if you dropped some trends is awesome. I would know since I listen to folks that already do :)
