it sounds to me like either you write + record your bars first without a tempo in mind and then put them over a beat as is, or you record them over the beat but have trouble keeping rhythm. if you're doing the former, i'd recommend recording your vocals while listening to the beat so you can stay in tempo. if it's the latter, i'd recommend writing less demanding bars so you can stay in time and enunciate properly. bc you keep falling out of time and i can't understand anything
ohh does the beat bleed thru your headphones into the mic? this is a common issue, try using earbuds and cupping your hands over your ears while you record
yea if i record with a beat it interferes with the recording. i do need to buy a better mic i went and prod all the beats and will record i have 15 drafts rn about 2 publish
The vocals are too resonant with the melody. Turn down 500hz on an EQ, for the vocals, as well as for the bells. The 808 is a random-not-catchy pattern, bells are offkey, and everything is too much in your face. Give the track a breakdown after the climax.
This kind of clipping isn't tasteful, since everything is clipping from horrible mixing. I suggest learning about EQ on YouTube. Keep going though, with feedback, practice, and endurance, you'll for sure get better.
thx 4 the feedback i need it its better to have criticism when it helps u get better than to have no one to help u and just release a bunch of 🗑️ and think its good thx
