Plugin or real guitar?
So, I'm trying a new thing here. I hate sitting on projects and much prefer that at least someone hears what I'm doing, and given that I'm essentially a hybrid DAW producer now with multiple music aliases, I have quite a decent amount of stuff built up.
My approach to rock, and subsequently EDM music has been very riff-based. It's the most fun to me, and as I stated previously, music is supposed to be fun.
This track compiles together every idea I've been sitting on for the past few months. You'll notice that they range from five second doodles to almost full tracks, from garbage sound quality to near fully-produced ideas. That's usually an indicator for how passionate I am about the idea.
In the future I will probably publish one of these at the end of every month, provided there is enough interest and enough content to warrant doing so. Some of these may end up becoming tracks (mostly for Ragdoll), so keep an ear out!

0:00 - 9/26/24 "killer" - tried remaking Avenged Sevenfold's Natural Born Killer, hence the name.
0:16 - 10/2/24 "220" - tried making something faster than Overblown. It's okay.
1:02 - 10/5/24 "shrapnel" - my attempt at metalcore. This is one of those full tracks, so I had to cut it short.
2:09 - 10/28/24 "slam" - inspired by Avenged Sevenfold's Buried Alive.
2:27 - 11/2/24 "whammy" - tried to recreate the main riff of Rob Scallon's Only Whammy Bar challenge.
2:53 - 11/4/24 "flamelash" - kind of inspired by Metallica's Moth Into Flame.
3:24 - 11/12/24 "bite" - after hearing Exodus's "Atrocity Exhibition" album I became determined to get that super biting guitar tone. This was the result. The riffs would later be found on my failed entry for AT Day.
4:19 - 11/14/24 "fear and forgiveness" - the guitar parts from my AT Day entry arranged together.
4:58 - 11/19/24 "nu-metal" - I attempted to make a nu-metal riff without knowing anything about the genre.

5:12 - 12/16/24 "creeping" - the first new idea for the first official Ragdoll album. A slowed-down version of this was posted to AT to display a new guitar VST I got.
5:57 - 12/16/24/2 "elysium" - named after Project Elysium, an important part of Ragdoll's lore
6:40 - 12/19/24 "funeral" - inspired by Exodus's Funeral Hymn.
7:14 - 12/20/24 "punk" - I watched a random video about thrash metal and found out there's some bands that combine aspects of punk into their riffs. This was my attempt.

7:59 - 12/22/24 "rattle" - inspired by Megadeth's Rattlehead. This one didn't turn out that great.
8:21 - 12/23/24 "stargazing" - the only one here actually physically played by me. I was practicing some chords and found a nice progression.
9:00 - 12/26/2024 "triple" - and back to metal we go. Just some fun with triplets.
9:34 - 12/31/2024 "black ice" - I like this one a lot. It might actually become a virux track.
