    My introduction to Extratone was the original so this is fantastic

      Apparently misread what you wrote. The original is technically not extratone. The original sounds frenchcore-esque/rawstyle-esque, but only distantly. Hard to put a genre label on it.

      If you end up creating something in that lane, I recommend using a much higher BPM, (somewhere from 300-1000) you have more note range, but creating rhythms will be more difficult.
