the mixing is fine for a metal track in midi style, I think you were very much overlooked and not given the proper time

honestly, if you aren't a fan of the synth sound in the first ten seconds, you're not gonna want to listen to it for seven minutes. I believe the overall arrangement and composition is some of my best work, but sonically, everything's very unpolished and rough around the edges, and the other entries just had more competent mixing and mastering.
there's probably a bunch of other reasons why, but that's my best guess. Still proud of it, though!

Were these guitars recorded live, or are they spliced samples you pulled from somewhere? They're great, I'm jc cuz I love BTS stuff. Like seriously this arrangement is fantastic and so energetic! I like it a lot! It screams soundtrack, intro music, anime opener, mech assault, monster battles...fantastic, beautiful, wonderful!

Unfortunately for me, I started producing rock music before I really knew how guitars worked, so some of my parts aren’t really possible. I’ve been getting better at that, and the guitar parts in this track should theoretically be possible with some skill

So for the guitars, any time you hear guitars in my songs there’s a 97% chance it’s digitally produced using a VST that I bought. That’s the case for this track. I do own an electric guitar and I am in the process of learning with the dream goal being to replace all digital guitars with my playing. Sadly I am not nearly skilled enough yet, but I will get there eventually!
