synchronized the intro rythm with the piano

  • Fr j'aime vraiment le piano

  • really cool, Tu gères grave au piano, mec !

  • the melody is so cool how???

  • Okay first i hear glitch hop, then donkey kong country, then clipping (kidding), then back to glitch-hop

I was really expecting this to go hard and it never really did, but that's cool, you kept it chill. It's a vibe, but i was hoping for something more explosive.

Would you consider working on this genre again? I'd love to participate

    • Thanks for the comment ! Yes the goal wasn't to make something explosive, but some parts can be edited to sound cleaner.

It was fun trying this genre, however it took me a lot of time to record the piano stems, so my next try won't be soon :/

But I'll text you whenever I have some electro swing project/idea !

  • Sounds a bit messy between 00:10 and 00:17 - I think if you didn't sync in the percussion with the melody by repeating the kicks/low beats a lot, it would sound cleaner. At 00:18 , I think if you added some hihats or snares on the mid/high end which make the drum kit pop out, it would sound more explosive and fun for the genre of electro swing. Fav part is 00:54 because the kick is heavy and explosive.

    • Thanks for your review ! I totally agree with you for all the points you spotted. I'll edit it if I'm not too lazy :)

    • The melodies throughout are really great so if you added less subdued percussion/drums at certain points, it would give off a better electro swing feel.

  • Lifts the mood :) Very cool !

  • This is insanely good for a first try at electro swing!

  • THE SNAPSHOT?!!

    • Lots of synths are used as fx (my pc doesn't like it)

  • nice
