Man when I make riffs I just make whatever can make me groove, my inspiration for riffs has always based on groove metal like Dimebag Darrel or like Brostep such as old Skrillex.
The snap part is always there but it's most noticable when everything goes low end like in that part specifically becuase that snap sound is a high end sound. I thought about getting rid of it but it just makes it heftier in a way.
It's this weird neuro bass thing that I made that kinda acts sorta like a stab sound when it's played and once it's played out it makes a phasey-like growl and so when it plays quickly it has a "snap" sound and it actually sounds pretty cool for this part as it was a detail I didn't even consider until I just heard it and I thought it sounded super cool how it pops.
