I feel like there's something missing to this, like some bass or something that isn't just a synth

sounds bland,
you have to do more to your synths. Better choices on the effects youre using and the actual device itself. The space sucks ass.
The drum's placement are fine, but thats it. they're just fine. nothing standing out about this beat. You have the right notes and things are in the right place, but sound of them are cheap.
If i were in your shoes, id take some time to find a way to make these sounds more unique to you.

i agree to a certain degree. however, given the fact that this is less than 2 minutes i would just slow it down a little and add a bunch of reverb
