Interesting.
Did you listen to the ATU podcasts?
Some advice, if you are going to record with others - which makes the show more engaging - and intend to use the same people each time, set a schedule for when you will record, edit, publish and stick to it. It is easy to get lost in time.
This is what I struggled with most.
Quality of sound is important, you will need a decent mic, audio interface and if streaming live a good internet connection.
There are multiple ways to record with other people, I chose to record the audio from my own mic simultaneously with the audio coming from Skype.
More people make that method harder.
Other option would be have each person record themselves, to sync the audio a loud noise before the show will give you a visual cue to line each audio track up with.
Ive thought of that, but yeah, im defiinetly going with the first option. Ive recorded myself and others conversations before. Im going to invest in a Condenser mic, both for new vocal stuff i wanted tot ry, and as well as this. We are going to have a set number that we interact and talk with, BUT include and excluse guests and other artists to keep it continually different. Different "shows" wil have different types of artists, and etc. We want to make this simple, yet effective. Not anything too complex, that it gets to be daunting, but nothing too low quality and cheezy either.
Unfortunately, multiple people make it complicated.
I'm not a big fan of the restrictions you've put in place, I understand why. But follows does not equal great musicality or an understanding of synthesis. Instead, invite those you consider interesting or think will bring some insight to the show. That's what I always did, or I went to popular vote on who the public wanted to hear interviewed.
Some people have no energy on the mic, you need to bring that yourself to make up for it.
Alright. I know myself, i have a lot of energy and it transfers well into the mic. I'm used to doing professional readings, and voice acting for some commercials that have been aired. I want to put the restrictions as for submissions, only then. Anyone in reality anyone no matter the amount of likes or followers, can be invited on, but to stop a swarm from low level to music that is still learning, it provides a light barrier against that. Good music, isnt always popular, and that's something I DO realize. Im just implementing those so people CAN submit, and REQUEST to be on the show, but it still keeps the INVITATION to appear on the podcasts, special.
Sounds good man, look forward to hearing it.
Love the Idea!
Same
cool
can't wait !
cool idea
So will this be a musical podcast or a talk show? Also how far from mainstream AT are you willing to stray? Could I represent Audiotool Hardcore or would that Alienate people. What about other wierd/underground/unloved genres that a few people love. The people who make noise music. What about trap producers, will they get to be on the show? How family friendly is the show/ is swearing allowed or is it forbidden? Or will you bleep it. I'd be interested to help if you want me to DJ.

not my best work but I used AT chart songs and didn't plan it really at all...
The Podcasts will have different "shows" So some will be interviews, and discussions, and some will be ACTUAL podcasts full of music, some will be announcements and of Updates about Next. etc.
I would like it keep it family friendly, but keeping the talk shows and etc at a higher maturity level. Interviews, General Discussions, announcements and such, will be at a family friendly level though.
Yes ALL genres will be reviewed at some point. Even Noise tracks. Trap producers, can and will appear on the show, as they are also part of the comunity, and we do not want to exclude anyone, as long as the music is good.
Thinking of making a Completely separate AT account just for this.
