Using something besides piano samples for dnb tracks.

I've been messing around in my drafts for awhile now, especially experimenting with dnb. The problem is I find myself using Infyuthsion's piano samples for all of them. I want to broaden my horizon in terms of synths to use for dnb. Any ideas?

If you have ideas for anything other than dnb, I'm still all ears anyway. I kinda suck at unique sound design so anything helps, really.

I assume you mean liquid dnb?
Pull out the heisen or the pulv and try to create a sound that produces the same feeling as a piano. experiment is best.
or listen to loads of the dnb you want to create and hear what type of sounds they use and then create your own.

I'm not trying to mimic the sound of piano, I'm more just trying to find synths that could replace the role of the piano in the songs.
thanks though.
Are there any dnb songs you would recommend on Youtube, Audiotool, Soundcloud, etc. for me to check out? I think it's also just a lack of inspiration that I end up making all my dnb drafts the same, in terms of using piano and such.

I didn't say mimic the sound, but the vibe/feeling. Sometimes it's a pluck, sometimes a softer note.

Went through your tracks on AT, can't hear any dnb...so couldn't gauge what type of dnb you're trying to go for.
Otherwise i'd post a bunch of links up.

Maybe u could post a link to a dnb track u like. I personally make dark, more experimental dnb. Not much melodies in those ofc :D
So just link a track and we can recommend more stuff.
