the trick is to use the waveshaper a lot to shape the bass
and alternately eq (and effect) in passes to have a hollow yet full sound
also, a triangle kick (like a 909) is better for that type of 'crunch' than a sine
btw on that one i used mid-side processing because the flanger was too stereo-y

Honestly for a hardstyle kick I'd just take a 909 kick with accent and feed that through about 4-5 of the gain pedals and compress it.
