=808= - Heisenberg
1 - High Sustain
For an 808, turn on A and B to highest volume.
Make sure release, decay, and attack are all the way down and sustain up.
Glide is a cool thing to use for 808s, especially when changed frequently via 'Create Automation'.
On A and B either keep both waveforms at Circle or Parabola, or change both to Andrew Wiles and turn cutoff slightly down (75% or below. Resonance should stay at 0 to 15%).
Now when you place a low note it will sound great. It'll start right when you want and end right when you want.
2. High Release
Turn on A and B. Set both to Ernest Rutherford. Turn pitch on. Turn Release to 4500. Turn Cutoff to 50. Turn pitch Attack to 30 and set Start Pitch to +6 semitones. Set Note to Mono.
On Centroid turn Low Gain up a few db.
=Leads= - Heisenberg
1 - Bell
Turn on channels A, B, and C. Turn channel C to +12 semitones (1 octave). On A, turn Amp Modulation on LFO 1 to 50. On the Filter Mod below it, put +50.
On LFO 1, Turn phase offset to 100. Turn rate to 1/4 and keep waveform at Sinus.
In the Filter turn Cutoff to 80 and Resonance to 30 - 40.
Add reverb and delay.
2 - Soft Glide
This sounds like the lead in Slippery (Migos).
Turn A and B on. Turn Cutoff to 70.
In Envelope Main, turn Attack to 30, keep Decay the same, turn Sustain all the way up, and release to 2000.
=Drums= - Machiniste
Look up my Samples my searching 'Zane -'. Add them into the Machiniste going from the top in the order of - Kick, Snare, Hat, Open Hat. Right click the Machiniste then select Copy Pattern to Track. When you open the pattern in the track editor, the C note in the middle is your kick, the note above is Snare, the note above is Hat, and above that is Open Hat.
Now mess around with this.
If you want my signature drum samples email me. My address is in my profile.
Below is a track with all of these components.

Sustain should be 0% and should have reasonable release time. Also should be set to Monophonic so notes dont overlap. Creates a more authentic 808
Yeah, forgot to specify play function.
i usually keep sustain either 100 or like 40 or lower
what do you mean when you say 808? I don't make Trap, or particularly like it, but to me, the best way to make a real 808 sound would be to use the 808 machine itself surely?
vvv he means a bass sub with distortion and release, not a normal 808/909 kick drum
808 basically means bass.
its become synonymous
follow for follow, stagefright?
nope
