It's pretty easy I think. Just get a sine wave, filter out the high end, get a eq and cut the very low end and all of the high and middle freq and that should be it. Maybe someone else can explain it better.
Filtering out the "high end" of a sine wave would just decrease the volume since it's a pure tone. Just use a pure sine, play it around this frequency range so it's audible https://i.imgur.com/lzXDQoJ.png and make it mono via StereoEnhancer. Sub bass baby BOOM
I wouldn't cut the low end, because then you would have vocals and leads competing with the sub, so cut everything except for the low end and some of the mid.

Not all of the low end, just the mud. The sub is literally just low end. Like around 60Hz.
