Youtube's algorythm pushed this video into my recommendations and I found it fascinating to learn (see!) how autotune actually impacts the waveform.

Great video. It could inspire AT producers to introduce pitch imperfections to make things sound more pleasing. Vibrato and glide are great to make monophonic synth lines more expressive. Detuning similar sounds creates thicker sounds. Even moving the master tuning of several synths playing together off zero by different small amounts can make the resulting sound more exciting and natural.
