Is there a way to slide sample 808s via pitch automation.
I tried and the pitch automation only effects the 808 if changed before or as the 808 is played.
I would like to play the 808, slide to a lower key, and then right back up to the next note in the progression (yes Ik that's what a sampler is for, but we don't have one do we..AHEM..)

yes, if you auto mate the pitch at the right time you can make the 808 slide. I havent tried it so don't quote me on it, but try it and see if it works.
also if you use the hieseberg tool, you can double or right click the note in the note track and you can use the slide option there, or you can change the glide on it to change it there too.
