If you're reading this, you probably already know how to add a synth to your track. But if you don't, we have good news for you: we've added a tutorial which guides you step-by-step through the process of adding devices, wiring them up and finally creating notes for your track. There is also a tutorial on how to create drum patterns. You can launch both of them from the studio's Help menu (Help>Tutorials>Getting started with Audiotool).

Even if you're already familiar with audiotool, we'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Cheers!

plz make these so I can learn how to use every device! the synth tutorials are great, but kind of basic. I would love to learn how to use all of the audio-chain-whatchumacallit devices. also the links to the device manuals are 404 errors.

Can you tell me which links are broken, please? The questionmark-icon at the bottom of a device work fine for me. Is it for a specific device only?

This is just minor, but you could change the right-click color from "red" to something else (maybe cyan), so that when you show it, it calls people's attention better. I suspect a lot of people will skim the text, but also sometimes people tend to not read "right click" carefully.

You can drag it from the synthesizers section onto the project, and then start making sounds with it. It serves as a sound device that you can do sound design with. If you don't know how to sound design, you can right click anywhere on the Heisenberg, click presets, then click load. this will give you a variety of sounds to choose from. In order to hear that sound, go to the mini keyboard that you can open by clicking the icon in the bottom right, somewhere around there. When you click through the presets and find something you like, double click that preset in order to choose it. If you want to choose another one and change the previous, click the name of that preset, located in the bottom center.

If you want to make your own sound design with the Heisenberg, this will be VERY complicated, and takes a lot of experience. I can get you started with that and teach you some tricks if u want to :)
Hope this helps! :D
Feel free to ask any more questions u might have!
