[[Attachment:1]]Bubblz's way of merging cool trap beats with heart-warming synth melodies and atmospheres is rare even outside Audiotool. Her tracks are unmistakably hers, but listening through the tracklist never gets boring. Time and again, there is a surprising note or a poignant nuance you hadn't heard before. But what unifies them all are their high-quality value and emotional density that can never leave you cold. This music has the gift of breaking down boundaries. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Interview:
About https://www.audiotool.com/user/bubblicious/:
HEY! It's your favorite person ever here. Honestly, I wouldn't have thought I'd be on the audiotool spotlight from making simple loop trap beats. 3 years ago I was introduced to the creative freedom for which is Audiotool. AND IT IS FREE?!? WHAAT?! And browser-based?!?! My style is more of a rebellion towards the criticism I received back when I had no knowledge of production, and implemented many loops into my tracks. I taught myself many tricks by remixing every track I could find, I then started to find my sound. I leaned more to entrancing dark melodic sounds, I loved the way it made me feel.
Oh and most importantly, I like pineapple on pizza. I DONT GET IT, ITS A FRIGGIN FOOD CODE PEOPLE, SWEET AND SAVORY!!
Which artist has had the most influence on you (on and/or outside Audiotool)?
Wizard - the way his tracks make me feel is almost as if he went through the same struggles I did. Something about it made me feel comfortable, his tracks actually make me feel something which is why Im heavily inspired by him. If it wasn't for Wizard, I'd have no idea what my sound would be.
TakeMeAway on Audiotool - his dark melodies really send shivers down my spine. Was attracted to his sound as soon as I discovered him.
Okin on Audiotool - He mastered the simplicity aspect of track, making sound amazing with limited resources.
Who would you like to work /collaborate with on and outside Audiotool, and why?
Wizard most definitely. He's my idol, I respect him highly. Its my dream to just throw sounds together with him and watch how his genius mind works.
Which film/game would you like to produce the score for or contribute a song to?
I've always wanted to create some sort of, "pick up" sound effect. Something about the simplicity of it and how important it is to sound just right amazes me. I think it's extremely overlooked.
Have you ever had a writer's block? If so, how did you deal with it and what do you recommend to your colleagues?
Oh most definitely.
In a writers block situation, most likely I'm overworking my brain. So I'll just step away for a few hours or a few days, and completely forget it exists. Therefore when I come back, it's like a fresh creative mind, slowly unfolding, compiling ideas as you listen to your work.
What has helped you the most on Audiotool to improve and widen your musical horizon?
What helped me the most is experimenting.
I would just experiment with many Fx and machines, anything I had no idea how to do. Not only did I end up discovering what to do, but also what not to do. Making your mistakes lead your understanding.
What do you like most about Audiotool? Is there anything you would like to suggest?
I mean, it has to be that it's FRIGGIN FREE?!
Back when I had no money I was searching and searching for free softwares. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for Audiotool. It's such a good starter, and overall I prefer Audiotool over many daws which costs hundreds. I'm very grateful for this site.

This track in itself is the embodiment of what I think is untouched music. It makes me feel things I can't explain but deeply understand.

Such a beautiful track. Gives me a bittersweet feeling about the things I've overcome. The replay factor is very rewarding on this track.

Jingle Bells - Synth Barbershop by https://www.audiotool.com/user/frigolito/
This is the track that absolutely broke my mind! Just pure, raw, dedicated talent. Opening the track was like looking into a bag full of gold!

Nothing like the feeling of knowing you're not alone. What attracted me to this sound was having an idea of what was going on in that amazing mind. Beauty to me is just, sitting down, ignoring the trends, and having an honest decision with yourself to make what you feel.

Tetrilax by https://www.audiotool.com/user/jetdarc/
I fell in love 10 seconds into this track. When you're this talented, you can pretty much hit any spectrum as chaotic as you can and still have it sound professional. Top 10 tracks IVE EVER LISTENED TO! EVER! Yes I did indeed just say that.

Awake by https://www.audiotool.com/user/bubblicious/
This holds something really special for me. For the past 4 years, I've been recovering from previous traumas. And after every losing battle with myself, I realized that the only person who can help me is...me. I tried being strictly honest with myself, cutting out any ideas that may harm my mentality and replacing it with reality. Like any other time, I used Audiotool as a way of release.

;-;
PLAGUE! YOU DONT LIKE PINEAPPLE PIZZA???? :OO HOW COULD YOU??
@kurpingspace2 Gotcha, makes sense.
agreed. Moderator has a point. The interviews is a way for us to get to know artists that have influenced the community in their own ways, not as a ranking compared to others. It is a chance for us to see into the minds of some of our most treasured artists on here and we should appreciate it whenever there is a new one featured, no matter how popular they are or who is going to get pissed about not coming before them.
not being petty being fr XD
whether in jest or not, still not a place to put it. we should celebrate each artist in their own way not compare/drag others down
well said, @traptaco

facts
Sweet and savory is a food code. Have you tried this amazing assortment of flavors before?
Like, a good pasta sauce
Also the sweetness isn't an overpowering sweetness. Unless there's a lot of pineapple. It compliments the pizza very well.
also if you haven't tried it, you're not in the discussion. This goes for all the HATERS OUT DARE
I'm extremely allergic to pineapple for some reason
I agree that they belong on pizza. but cantaloupe also goes on pizzas.
I like how that article talks about how you cant fit sweetness on a pizza when a lot of the time the sauce is actually sweet. Also saying that it isn't like chocolate which, "goes well with salty savory foods". But is still considered disgusting on a pizza lol. That in itself flips that whole article into a huge hypocrisy
So there has to be something there besides pure sweetness. Tang. Pineapple isn't just a sugary fruit. There's many elements this article is selectively arguing on a broad scale.
That's like me picking a certain trait about someone that fits my argument like, lets say he/she turns in bed. But leaves out the fact that he/she is indeed a comfortable fleshy bubble making sleep hit instantly. Tis an acquired taste, you like it, yay. You don't, don't go out your way to say its bad.
okay @moomaker i think youve gone insane
What comes next?
hey @bubblicious , i've seen you around, but never checked out your music. i immensely regret my lack of action, and have paid for it dearly by missing out on your aura of emotion. please forgive me for my fault and keep fighting for the honor of the sweet and the savory! ;)
lol
i didnt realize how many heathens on this site actually enjoy pineapple on pizza
THANK YOU VULKRON
Begone taste limiters
i like pineapple on pizza-
YES SOULS :DDDD
yeah i agree with pineapple, but CANTALOUPE? ive never tried it. imma try it tonight xD
:D
Damn vulkron i guess we're enemies now xD
CeriXyn
y do u block me?
i didnt do anything LMAO
And I'm one of them
okay okay.. I'm seeing ALOT of discussions about pineapple on pizza so as a professional cook, and somebody who's made lots of pizzas in the past ill explain why pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, without prejudice to those who enjoy it... Tomatoes are decently sweet, and they're also acidic as well, this compliments well with cheese, and other savory toppings, paired with its crust which usually fills out the dish. however when you add pineapple, it creates a disbalance in acidity and sweetness. the sweetness often becomes overpowering for many, and the acidity is left too high which doesnt really work for a dish that is meant to be a main course. pizza is supposed to be savory, its supposed to be filling and satisfying, when you make it too sweet it treds a line between dinner and desert that's just not meant to be. therefor; pineapple does not belong on pizza.
Well said
thank you client.
When tomatoes are turned into pasta or pizza sauce, it doesn't keep the same acidic level. Like anything, after processing its greatly reduced. So using the tomato comparison as if its a regular sweet tomato is off topic. Also, they key phrase here is too sweet. Not saying to slap whole slices on a pizza, that's gross. Just little shreds of it.
But out of everyone this comment made the most sense
okay well im going to have to disagree with you there bubblz! I cant change my opinion, the sweetest topping on pizza im willing to accept is a red pepper. pineapple is just too much for me and for that im sorry we cant agree. maybe one day we can see eye to eye. but im afraid its not meant to be.
Im in no place to say youre wrong for having an opinion ^-^ I respect it fully. I guess I just need a bit more sweetness in my life
i can totally understand. I respect your opinion; despite the fact that i think its an absolute sin inside the kitchen :)
I respec- How dare you
ive been cooking for a long time bubblz. come at me.
Listen, an ambitious chef would only call something that is ACTUALLY DISGUSTING a sin in the kitchen. EVEN IF IT WENT AGAINST THE RULES, the dude from good mythical morning, the guy that makes all the crazy stuff likes it, IT MUST MEAN SOMETHING
Bubblz hear me out for a moment; Im all for trying new things, but the issue stands, even in minuscule amounts it just doesn't work! pineapple has a very strong and outstanding flavor! once its added to the pizza it totally changes it, it just doesnt work! Im not saying its bad to enjoy it, some people do and thats totally fine. That said, its simply not a good way to introduce a sweeter profile to pizza. rather than pineapple, id go for fresh figs, because despite it being a fruit, figs have a creamy texture and lower acidity, the don't overpower the dish and would compliment the cheese very well. however, pineapple stands out and doesn't complement the other ingredients, it clashes with them
lmao this is so funny, Bubblz just said "pineapple belongs on pizza" and the comments blew up
With all due respect, WE DONT SLAP HUGE FRYING PAN SLICES ON THE PIZZA. If it were clashing everything like you said, there wouldn't be so many fans out there. We know how to implement them, there are many elaborate dishes playing with extremely strong overpowering flavors. But like anything, portion control is the solution, its not like some poison that taints the whole pizza with a single drop. Truffle for example, extremely overpowering, yet enjoyed and implemented into VARIOUS dishes. For one to say it doesnt work only reflects how far the subject really is as far as understanding
It all comes down to do you like pineapple or not
we can agree to disagree bubblz ;P. I still love your music, and congrats on being the featured artist <3
As a professionally trained chef, I can only disagree with you on a whole level. The human tongue is divided into different zones, which are responsible for certain flavors: eg salty, sweet, sour, bitter, umami.
If you add sugar to a savory dish, such as in ketchup, pickles, chutney or sweet and sour sauce, the areas of the tongue that perceive not only salty are also activated. As a result, the overall taste becomes more intense. The opposite effect is experienced with salted caramel or the pinch of salt that is added when baking cookies. The sweet but also sour note of the pineapple is therefore ideally suited to create a taste experience,
love how the featured album only has one of bubblz' tracks
all featured albums only have one haha
Tbh we all know that pineapple is dissed on more than other toppings, but the real truth is that the best topping is cream cheese, pickle and ketchup toppings for the pizza 👌
Yessir
news flash, tomatoes are a fruit; therefore, fruit belongs on pizza. :^)
Cool! :D
this didnt age well
oh my god
well it didnt
So the context of this is that Bubblz was always a group project (not that there's anything wrong with it) and basically the girl (whose in the photo) broke up with the guy. So now it's just the guy producing
But regardless. I really like working with Bubblz. They are really talented.
interesting, i wonder how the guy feels about it. they've never really expressed their individuality
lol
yes
That "awake" track makes me wanna make it longer and add lyrics to it. 👍
i ate pineapple on pizza and it obliterated my tastebuds
