The perspective I leave to the observer. Do I tell someone who has been in their reproductive years for over ten years to finally prepare for offspring, or do I tell someone who already considers themselves 'old' at 30 to adjust to the ever-accelerating physical decline from the viewpoint of a grandparent?

Well, I will say this, this is a good way for the younger generation to realize that, music, is ultimately supposed to unite people with Peace and Love. Bringing people together with unity and respect. NOT TO DIVIDE!!!!

Well...Kepz, no matter our age...we can be old/older in age, knowledge, truth, and spirit, but we can also still be young at heart. At least that's the way I feel about it.

With age comes wisdom. Besides, this is just 1 event in dedication to the future generation of producers.

The confusion between opinions and facts has brought us into a situation that makes initiatives like this more important than ever.

Wow is everyone is still tight about a non-audiotool song winning a contest?

Like grow up. This whole website is a bubble people. As soon as you get out into the real world you'll realize how little any of that matters and how much the music is really the most important thing. You're also going to realize that you're not the best person in the class anymore. There are so many talented people out there that you haven't even met yet. And you're getting upset because of a formality?

One time I missed out on a competition because I didn't submit mine in time because I didn't read the instructions properly. Do you know what they told me? Tough luck. And they were right.

What I submitted wasn't a banger but I was so emotionally attached to it that I thought that if I had the opportunity to participate I surely would have won. I see now that it's not the case, but I also understand the passion.

Get off your high horses and stop acting like anything you would have made anywhere else would have been any better than what you made here because at the end of the day it's all about passion knowledge and experience, not what the tools are.

There are plenty of people on this website that make banger music and never even touch another software. You can also say the same about any other music software. This place is about the love and growth of music. It's not about being the best or which software is the best or which instrument is the best. It's about the love of music and peace for goodness sake! Use that energy instead to make something better next time around and continuously work on your craft. Learn and grow.
You should be out there supporting your peers and the people who win competitions. Their success should motivate you to succeed, not the opposite.

I am not going to use a fork for soup because it was designed to eat the main meal.
I am not going to use a whiteboard pen to write in a notebook because it's designed to write on a whiteboard.
I am not going to use Audiotool as a streaming platform because it was designed for uploading music created within Audiotool.
In my case, I am allowed to complain about it without being called a sore loser because I didn't participate in the EWC contest to begin with, and never complained when, for example, some ATD contest track was picked instead of mine. I just saw that an audiotool track is supposed to win if it (the contest) was officially promoted in there (and not any elsewhere).
