Seems like
naut
really challenged you with his Sample Sound task.
Respect to those who dared to take it on. There are again pieces included that we will now proudly present to our renowned jury.
Before we present you with the final challenge next week, which will also determine the final winner of the Summer Games, you have another chance this week to not only win prizes, but also earn points for that final victory.
This time, the challenge consists of two parts. Earn points in both to increase your chances of winning the prize.
Eventhough I'll be dying of jealousy of how close people will get to a piano, I like making little 1 synth compositions and this is a good oportunity to do so. Also might make some pulsar hell sounds, why not?
I think I have to add my 2 cents because I think I presented the challenge in a wrong way.
I think people are allowed to use all devices they want as well as synths to create melodies or just use samples. The reason for that is with just a drum loop and a pulsar delay with no filtering it will sound awful. Second, the more sounds you introduce to the pulsar delay the richer the effect. Also, you can really use any effects you want for example if you want to have a reverb you can do it. Pulsar delay effects really cannot be mistaken with anything else. So if you come up with cool pulsar delay effects one will know it's in fact pulsar delay by studying the draft and simply by hearing it since nothing else can replicate it. MAIN EFFECTS have to be DONE with PULSAR DELAY. The draft size can be as big as you want and sound wise I think you should be allowed to use as many sound sources as you want just make sure to make them crazy effects n shit!
@sila
Do me a favor. You left us the information "Grab a beat" (dropping an audio track to the desktop in the video), "Attach it to THE pulsar delay, and make some sick effects."
From this information, we have created the rules, which are now binding. Please do not confuse the challengers. The rules are stated in the board post and on the challenge page, nowhere else. I have at least adjusted the number of delays to be used. Nothing else changes now.
