why is there a 4 minute limit on the duration for submissions?
i just finished my entry and went to submit it, and apparently my track is 40 seconds too long
if there must be a limit, i feel like it should be at least 5 or 6 minutes
i assume the track length limits are to help with judging

@naswalt I've looked over the rules and would like to clarify some specifics. Quantum and Curve: off-limits, right? Does the drum loop have to be from Newloops? Are we allowed to layer the drum loop or modify it?

You can use whatever drums you'd like, but try to avoid anything melodic (like a tuned 808 for example) I chopped up my drums in the example, so feel free to edit yours, but keep it simple and tied to one audio track. We're trying to keep those tone matrices the focus ;)

Yeah, that's what I did in the example. the whole goal is to make the tone matrix the focus, so keep the drums to a single track (even if it has multiple audio layers lol)
