every year on 09.09. the world of electronic music celebrates the legendary ROLAND drumcomputer, the TR 909.
To celebrate the day we thought to invite you to a little challenge:
Please create a track with our 909 replica, the Beatbox 9. The prize for the best work is a t-shirt from our reminiscence of the world famous original.

There are a few rules though:

**◘ The BB9 is the only allowed sound source **

◘ However, you can use as many of these as you like

◘ Effect devices may be used

◘ The minimum length is 1 minute

◘ Deadline is 16.09.2021 0:00 CET

◘ Leave a link to your track in the comment lines below this post

i use AT because

  1. its free
  2. its easy to use
    the main things i dont like about this DAW is
  3. outages
  4. machiniste trap kids
    other than that i like this place.
    if you dont like AT, either dont talk to people on this site (i did this for over a year) or just dont use it at all.

Pulv has the best envelope shaping imo. you control the envelope with midi. Using sidechain for the autofilter is clunky and it's trickier to give the autofilter sustained notes for the sidechain as we only have a 909 source!

I think it's fine as the rules just say to use the 909 as the only sound source, using pulv as an envelope shaper and not a signal generator should be fine
