made a wip preview a while back then published it, hid it forgot it, then recently i decided to finish it by remixing it so it would appear at the top of my page. But I would like to get rid of the original, will it take the remix with it? I know it's probably a straight forward answer but i don't want to risk it lol

Yes actually just did a test. Deleting original doesn't delete remix. Don't know about Flash, deleting an original made in Next doesn't delete rmx made in next.
You'll be fine.
