@andremichelle : Perhaps it could be an idea to have a library of curated, selected presets that would cover the essential sounds and would sound good straight away. Something like the Loopmasters sample library. They could include brief instructions of how to use them (which parameters to tweak to get which effect) and promote the artists that created them (some instruments by Korg, for example, include a mention about the creators of their presets). It would really help beginners.

The new Helmholtz and Ringmodulator (in next) seem like they're attempting to address this. Pretty neat
