I remember one time, a while back, when I thought I heard a note play when I pressed one of the keys on my computer.
Is this possible? Or was I just trippin?
Even if it's not, I think it would be great to be able to play notes from the computer keyboard instead of having to buy a midi keyboard and connect it and all.

Just select the synth on the desktop by clicking it, press your "CAPS LOCK" key and press keys on your keyboard. The synth should play. You can find a reference of what each key on your keyboard does here: http://www.manula.com/manuals/audiotool/audiotool-user-manual/1/en/topic/interface-keyboard-shortcuts-instrument-keyboard-shortcuts
there's no CAPS LOCK on a chromebook...

OHHH SWEET THANKS
Okay i just tried it with the app. The problem is that the lag time is really long. I press a key on my keyboard and instead of instantly playing it lags enough to be a considerable problem when recording and playing. Is this just my computer? Or is it the app?
it doesn't work for me
Since the update to the app, the method below no longer works. Just right-click any synthesizer and choose Show Software Keyboard from the context menu. A small keyboard will appear on your desktop. Its keys have the corresponding computer keyboard keys you can use to play the synth.
NEED TO WHERE WE CAN PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT
How do I check the key signature?
AT Studio doesn't have key signatures or any music notation besides the piano roll. You have to just know it and compose accordingly.
