Introduction

Honestly, I didn't want to have to write this. I thought something would have been done by now, but it continually gets worse every day. As much as I enjoy seeing young artists experience the joy of production, these are KIDS, and it seems like every day when more join, they're in a younger age group.

The Problem

I've been seeing literal ten year olds on this website. Worse, I have seen actual fucking predators on here take advantage of those aforementioned ten year olds. It's sickening to watch happen, and it genuinely feels like the moderators are either apathetic towards the complex social needs of children, or are completely overwhelmed with the sheer number of people joining the site every day.

Basically gang violence but with bullying

Here's a bit of a hypothetic analogy that might make this a bit clearer for everyone. Imagine you are a child, and you and your friends sit apart from each other in class. The teacher leaves the room for five to ten minutes, and gradually, everyone gets up and moves next to their friends, you included. Now, say you and your friends don't like another student, and this student isn't in a group. One of your friends, the bigger kid, starts cussing the kid out and calling him names. What do you think you and the rest of your friends would do?
You would bully this kid until he cried.
Unless you're Jesus Christ himself, at that age, you'd absolutely go with whatever your friends are doing. As a child, you aren't usually emotionally mature enough to handle peer pressure. Actually, you'd probably barely understand the concept of peer pressure.
Now imagine all of the groups of kids hate each other.
Now imagine they aren't in a school, so they can TRULY do whatever it is that they want to do to one another, as long as it's within legal limits.
And now you have the current state of audiotool.

Tinder but for children

This part is (in my opinion) by far the worst thing that has ever happened to this site. I feel like everyone knows about it and yet everyone has stopped talking about it because they just don't want to think about it. Those same 10 year olds? They get dick pics from perverted sacks of cum encrusted shit who join just to try and seduce these kids. I've seen 2 of them in the past 2 months. 2. That's a fucking huge problem, and god knows how many more there have been. These kids are ten, and they have seen cock and balls from a music sharing website. That doesn't look good on anyone here. What do you think will happen when one of these poor kids tells their mom or dad or teacher? That's right, it will look bad on us *and *you.
This obviously stems from the online dating problem. See, I think most of this chalks down to little tiny children being able to say anything they want on the internet. The majority of their internet experience comes from zoom, padlet, etc. where they have to act civil and whatnot, so to them this is basically like giving a prisoner immediate freedom, a car, and a gun. It's reckless, and there is no excuse for them to have this much freedom in a point in their lives where structure is essential for their development.

The Potential Solution

My solution is simple: turn off commenting and communication for school accounts/confirmed minors. Add an age verification. Communicate with schools and teachers to better monitor these children's safety.
That's it. That's all you need to do.

The Conclusion

I think I speak for everyone here when I say that I'm tired of this. Even for me, this is awful and repulsive. This stuff is everywhere, and there's no escape from it. You are actually LOSING users who've used this site for 3 - 4 years, and if this continues I might have to leave, too. I've apologized for what I've said and the way I've acted multiple times, but now I'm just fed up. I'm done with this entire thing and I'm ready to end it.
