New to this application. Trying to learn the systems and maybe some lingo.

Most of my experience in music is with concert instruments.

I made a neat riff and it sounds good and all but to make it work I had to increase the bpm to 920bpm (genius I know) and it makes the sound I need sound as snappy and quick as it needs to be but in return any drum beats just do not work. Is there an easier more sensible way to do this.

Also would like to know if there is any way to "slur" notes (not sure if that's the right term but I need in some cases smooth transition between notes). Any help appreciated.

The slur you are looking for is called "glide" or "legato" on the synths this is usually on the top or to the right of the synth.

I'm not sure why it only works at 920 bpm, I wouldn't be producing at that tempo, like you said the midi clock will make everything else wayyy too fast.

Drop me a message and I'll help you out

About the first question, it looks like you need to use another means to get the sound you want, probably envelopes or LFOs in your synth, rather than cranking up the tempo to an absurd value. It would help if you give and example or reference of the sound you're after. For the second question, see the answer below.
