Make Audiotool Compatible with Old Computers

anonymous user · started 2018-12-13 04:50 · updated 2019-01-12 20:15

Hey guys, i know an old computer will never be able to run the app anymore. But i've also noticed that i can't even hear songs either. Visiting the audiotool site on my old laptop i can't really do anything on here anymore. I used to be able to stream songs or listen to my old songs, but none of that is possible anymore. I wish there was a way i could still listen to music on here even if i can't open the app. I mean i'm all for the future and embracing changes but the future would be nothing without the past. Audiotool is a dead-end for me now since i can't listen to music on here anymore. I guess i must be the only old timer with this problem. Wish this wasn't an issue though.

Sounds like a https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports to me.
For this to be solved, you'll have to provide some more information: What do you mean by "can't hear songs"? No playback at all? Silent playback? Stuttering playback?
Which Computer, Browser and OS do you use?

zero playback functionality. Old laptop, old version of chrome. Laptop browser can't be updated. Old technology can't cope. Wish there was a way to make playback accessible even for old tech, gotta just adapt i guess.

Not updating a browser is at least a security risk. And we cannot give support for old versions.
Imagine there's a bug in your browser causing this - how should we fix it?

Virtualize a version of linux and run a web browser there LOL
