I've been using AudioTool for awhile now, and I still can't figure out how to edit latency for certain devices, such as the Tr808 and the Machiniste. I want to make it so that the Tr808 is delayed, giving the piano sample I installed a little time to perform on its own at the beginning before the beat joins the track. Am I just stupid? Is there even a way to do this? I'm new to music production, so some help would be appreciated.

You can achieve this by connecting the output of the drum machines to a delay pedal. The classic delay uses delay times in musical terms (note durations). The Pulsar delay also has absolute delay times in fractions of a second.
