Is there any way to remove silence at the start of a song?

I have about 8 seconds of silence at the start of a song and can't find any way to remove it - any ideas?

    Step 1: Click an empty spot in the timeline. Step 2: Press CTRL+A to select everything. Step 3: Drag the whole selection to the left until at least one track is touching the very left (bar = 1).
