Import mid/midi file?

Is there a way to import a midi/mid files? if not, that'd be awesome. I have midi files from various notation/music apps I use on my phone and it would be cool to bring the midi note tracks into AT for editing

    Can the midi file be imported with its individual channels sent to individual tracks? Having the entire file on one track is not helpful to me.

    Right click a synth and choose "Import midi file.."

      my friend i click and then it says NO MIDI FILE AVAILABLE what to do now ?
