Being an AT dev requires lots of experience in programming (not so much in music production). If you want to work on the Studio, you need to have good knowledge of DSP-programming and other math-heavy stuff. If you want to work on the site you should be familiar with modern web technologies, databases and have some experience in systems integrations and administration (AT-backend is Linux only).
BTW: https://www.audiotool.com/board/newbie/about_the_audiotool makes it looks like you're already an AT developer - even though the content is misleading and wrong in several places.
