I have encountered a bug where my changes to the note editor didn't change the song at all, I changed the positions of the notes and I also changed the velocity, but even with those changes the song didn't change.

I just noticed this is in the wrong area.
That's probably not a bug; make sure you're editing the right block in the note editor. Sometimes you might have a note editor area open that isn't currently being played. Also check the settings on the synthesizer itself—is the velocity value of the notes even being taken into account?
