Used to be able to have things like volume fade in/out wherever you like quite intuitively. I doubt that this feature was removed but I cant seem to find where to access it.
If I remember correctly there was a plus button next to each device you put down that, when pressed, you could pick master volume, filter envelopes, etc, to add and run under their respective note tracks. For whatever reason these options where moved (or removed)? I'm just looking to have the frequency of my note track fade mid track automatically.

just use the slope , and right click the frequency knob and click automate parameter.

slope's cutoff is 10khz so ur sound will get turned into a cardboard box
