How do you make a steady fade effect for the end of a song

I need help with the fade effect at the end of my song I cant figure it out

    Multiple ways; Use any fader/knob that can reduce the output level to the master and automate that (right click the parameter, add automation). You can then apply a curve to that automation to create a less linear fade out.

      I sometimes use a slope pedal to either have a muffled fade-out effect or a similar fade-out effect.
