I am a new user and I need to upload preexisting sound files to a project. How do I do this?

i don't think you can upload them from your phone directly,
but if you have them on your PC you can just upload them as samples by clicking on 'Projects' in the top left corner then click on 'Sample Upload' > 'Upload Sample' and then Probe will open where you can import, edit and upload your samples
