how do i make my audiotrack quiet at first and then gradually get louder

for example say a trap beat the loop/audiotrack starts out quiet and gets louder in the start , how do i achieve this effect? thanks.

right click on the central pedal that slides up and down and click automate parameter, then, go to the automation track and create a track that has a low point at the beginning and a highpoint at the end
