Hidden from community means that you'll be able to see them, but everybody else cant. It's just you.
I did that once and it showed for everyone

I don't know. It might, but I only tried hiding a preset once or twice and all I remember is it showed. I haven't tried it in a while because of that reason.
To whom was it shown? Did you use a second account to check it?

I forgot which one exactly it was but I just made a new preset for the tonematrix and it shows on my assets page.
I made it just as a test
