Guru Meditation Upon Attempting to Load any Draft

Currently, any drafts I have are impossible to open, as the app will sit for about 30 seconds 50% through startup and then it gives me the following error message: "java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: timeout starting worker

Running windows 8.1, google chrome Version 62.0.3202.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Getting a similar error:
java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot read property '儷' of null

Tried opening with incognito, cleared cache, fiddled with the buffer size of the booster and output devices, and tried using Chrome Canary with above variables.
