I have a big track that is a part of and album
It took almost 2 hours of waiting for it to get published and I got the classic something went wrong on our side thing
This has happened 2 times before in the past, I made topics seeking help and never came to an actual solution
This problem is very annoying and a huge inconvinience
I will try once more later.
I need your help here.

You'll be asked to provide the link to the draft, so add that to the text to help speed up the process when this gets picked up by the team in the week. :)
Tried to upload the next track and it wont even let me start uploading it
just gives me the same error almost immedietly :/
there appears to be some kind of issue generally
seems to reach an error when it tries to download the samples,
but attempting to publish the big track that's mentioned in this post works
I left the draft uploading over night and told my pc to sleep after 3 hours
I woke up to my computer screen closed and the render bar almost filled up.
Basically if I don't constantly move my mouse the bar freezes, or at least that's what i've found
Forwarded
Thanks
Any updates on this
Not yet, sorry. Doesn’t seem to be the standard issue
Thanks for staying in touch
Oh right, that is bad
I'm sorry, but this problem cannot be solved at the moment. We hope that a solution will be found as part of the work on the new studio. Our best suggestion for the moment is if you are using audio stretching in your clips, to take them out one by one starting with the smallest ones.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
That's alright
There is time stretching, but what exactly do you mean take them out?
Thanks for the response and the advice
An idea to somehow publish the track. Maybe it'll work:
Bounce the entire track from the timeline and publish only the resulting sample in a new draft.
I tried and it says the sample should be smaller than 30s
No idea why that's still a thing or if I'm doing something wrong as I do not know how bouncing works
The 30 seconds restiction should be removed ... hm
Yeah, true. damn
@vaporraiin Screen record?
You could export wav file and reupload as sample
Isn’t that only for patreon supporters or sum?
Used to be a year ago
Will try
Thanks for the help
G’luck. Invite me to the draft so I can at least see the original
Might need a booster dudester
Will do, but do listen to the track normally
I always prided myself in never needing the booster ._.
But will do lol
Update
Got the whole track cut into 3 pieces
But the upload of the samples keeps having issues and failing
Love life hahah
update 2: probe says that the upload was not succesful, and then proceeds to actually upload the samples
I am dying
And it doesn’t work to upload the entire track?
too big lol
1.2 gb
Chopped it into small chunks and got it to work
Mastered a little and if all goes well it's uploading tonight
I always get the sample upload error you’re describing (in your second update)- dunno why it does that. I just ignore it and look for the sample I’ve uploaded once the error shows. I should probs tell the mods tbh
Alright so
update 3: Now that I have big samples, I am facing the exact same problem that I was facing with the other track
As soon as the samples are downloaded, big ol error.
Problem seems to be with big samples. Audiotool is clearly not able to handle samples that big despite actively permitting you to upload them.
One must wonder why it is that audiotool is trying to do this audio engine thing they're doing when studio has so many obvious problems --problems that they may have inadvertantly caused-- that need fixing.
Like seriously it is ridiculous that you let me upload big samples when you're gonna screw me over later on
I shall cry about this and keep coping
Only solution I see now is to make them into even smaller pieces which will indeed suck
Thanks audiotool
hate life
a thing I could try doing is to just kinda snip every sample into smaller pieces from studio instead of uploading them and doing that editing in probe
I mean every other track I've made just has big samples split to like 15 parts all of which being 29 seconds long or so, so there's no practical reason why this wouldn't work
Cool
It did not work
Will try to see what the maximum length for samples is for it to let me publish, and just do that
I guess this whole story may prove to be somewhat useful
I put the samples in the machiniste instead, to see if it worked. Ran into other issues with the machiniste and loops and found out that the issue persists
Guess all I can do now is go to plan.....E??
New update: The sample length limit to not get the error after downloading samples is currently 6 minutes or so
Any samples 7 minutes long give an error
So I uploaded the track in six minute pieces, and after I got through the whole thing, the same error happened.
This leaves us with only one possible culprit for the error, and that is track length. All the other times this has happened, the tracks spanned out for more than 35 minutes (with this one being over an hout long it's no surprise that I am having problems)
So the obvious solution is to release the track in pieces.
if you download the mixdown of the draft and then upload the mixdown as a sample you’ll bypass the 30 second limit
i also had major publishing issues when i was posting redguy tapes vol 3 but not to the same magnitude as you
read everything please
I have already done this
Don't mistake this for sarcasm by the way
It does kind of come of that way
sorry i read everything to me it seemed you didnt try that yet
Yeah I tried it. I concluded that my track was just too long, and audiotool couldn't handle the length, so the upload always failed. So I just split it into pieces, and it seemed to work.
The track is up now
