idk, I think he means how to get instruments. In that case go to devices and go to synthisizers and theres a couple of options. I recommend heisenburg or pelvulsiter (idk if i spelled that right) and there should be a small piano sign on the bottom left of your synthisizer, click that and there you have a keyboard to make melodies!
Get started! There is no better way to progress than making mistakes and making a few shitty tracks here and there. That's how I started, and the reason, I haven't progressed that much is because of time gaps where I wasn't consistent. Don't be afraid of making a disappointing track. Keep creating the music and eventually your skills will greatly improve.
