As of now all i can guess that it would do is work as a keyboard according to its default midi setup (the same way it would interface with other physical gear as essentialy just a keyboard)
Most of the time manufacturers make specialized tools like launchpads with one specific DAW in mind for each feature. Then sometimes you'll see companies or individuals make back-door ways for it to interface with other DAW's if it's common enough.
If say to get on the beta testing and see what it can do with midi on a machiniste and report back your findings here! I'd be interested to see what happens
