I think it does but I'm not completely sure. I'm looking into buying a more powerful laptop in the future and I want something that can run and handle audiotool app with the generally larger projects I work with. I want to know if a graphics card will help lighten the load on my CPU.
Any suggestions for a laptop within the $1000 range would be great as well! Thank you!

??
I meant the app
No it does not. Its all based upon your CPU Actually. And doesn't matter if its multiple cores either. AT runs based off of a single core, no matter how many cores you have.
It runs better based upon how many threads, are in that core. The booster definitly helps, but they are working on upgrades to that current system.
Honestly, I'd really like to see an independent audiotool app that you can run offline and have the option to upload your track to audiotool whenever you get online. I'd also like to see my current audiotool utilizing more power of my pc instead of abusing one core and how many threads it has.
That's hopefully what the NEXT version of the booster will utilize. However. Due to the very small dev team, They are limited at the speed at which they can pump out updates.
Its mostly to do with read/write speeds on your storage device (I think) and cpu
Yes, it definitely will help. The Studio renders the desktop using WebGL, which is faster than using the CPU. Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your card to have the best performance. More info: https://www.audiotool.com/board/newbie/webgl_pitfalls_and_how
nevermind i guess i am thinking to far back
