The new beta is super slow, and none of the "tips" have helped. I also can't download the booster since I am on Chrome OS. Is there anything that can or will be done to fix this? OR Is there a way to use the old Flash version instead?

I would love to see more support for Chrome OS in the future.
Even though, right now, it's not the best when it comes to development, it's a platform with a lot of untapped potential I'd like to see used down the line.
Until the reliance of the Audiotool Booster is not a factor anymore (where the worklet performs with similar or lower latency than it) I don't think it's something that would be of use for the average user, but definitely something the devs might want to look into.
There is an app on the Chrome Webstore "Audiotool" released that would be awesome to see developed in its full capacity as a web application that interfaces with the Audiotool servers to create a DAW-like experience with offline support.
But, one can only dream
Good news! I found out that if you click "adjust your preferences" and enable the AudioWorklet, it runs a lot smoother. According to what I read, this is because it runs a program parallel to the browser instead of running it directly on the browser or something like that.
