Yes you can. You can usually connect them to your computer via USB. In Next, use "Window > MIDI Setup" to see information about your connected controller and to test it with the app. Then, on any synth, use the "Learn MIDI Keyboard" item in its context menu to establish a connection between the synth and your controller.
