How do I turn the damned thing off? I just made loads, 2 hours, of modifications which didn't work so closed the project without saving and it's saved everything. I can't find anything online, just a 404 and that's it.

you can't. idon't know why they even call it saving.
it's irrelevant here what im gonna say but,
when you open a draft it's always gonna save what you do, any change you make will always be there. "saving" just uploads your draft from local storage to the cloud so you can access it anywhere. it also removes the ability to easily delete drafts which is kinda annoying...
ANYWHO... for future reference if you would like to ACTUALLY have a save point use bookmarks. save a bookmark, make changes and if you don't like them just load your bookmark. when you load a bookmark it counts as a remix of the original draft. incase you end up publishing both.
