Audiotool performance suddenly and consistently plummets for no apparent reason.

This began when I opened Audiotool Studio for the first time today, and is persistent. If I render anything at all on the desktop, even just a single Pulverisateur, my GPU usage increases from 0.5-5% to 95-99%. I usually have outstanding performance on Audiotool Studio, so it's ridiculous to see it consume my entire GPU the moment it renders anything on the desktop.

I haven't tried restarting my computer yet, but I will report if this has solved the problem. I'm not using the Audiotool Booster, and I haven't changed any preferences or system settings today. My computer's motherboard is really funky however, and has lead to numerous OS problems, most notably irreparable corruption of certain system files. Sure my computer crashes at the log in screen 9 times out of 10 whenever I boot it up, but it has only sometimes caused show stopping problems. It's more of a "This is fine." sort of situation.

Here is a list of all the system files I need to manually repair (but I can't actually because the computer won't give me permission to modify these files) that I got from my last sfc:

AppXDeploymentServer.dll.mui
srpapi.dll.mui
ConsoleLogon.dll
dmenterprisediagnostics.dll.mui
DMAppsRes.dll.mui
dmpushroutercore.dll.mui
HoloSI.PCShell.dll
SystemSettings.exe.mui
SystemSettings.exe
notepad.exe
notepad.exe.mun
LayoutData.winmd
ScreenClipping.winmd
SuggestionUI.winmd
TextInput.winmd
TextInputCommon.winmd
InputApp\InputApp.dll
InputApp\LayoutData.dll
InputApp\SuggestionUI.dll
InputApp\TextInput.dll
InputApp\TextInputCommon.dll
InputApp\TextInputHost.exe
IrisService\IrisService.dll
ScreenClipping\ScreenClipping.dll
ScreenClipping\ScreenClippingHost.exe
ws2_32.dll.mui
afd.sys.mui
mfasfsrcsnk.dll
mfmpeg2srcsnk.dll
Microsoft.ConfigCI.Commands.dll

This is fine.

sounds like you should get a new motherboard
