When you get drag a loop (not a one-shot) an audiotrack is automatically created. When you put an audiotrack manually into the workspace, you just need to drag a sample into the audio track thing on your panel where you have all of your notes tracks and stuff. With the audiotrack you can change the volume of the sample and the panning. It also allows you to see the waveform of the sample you have placed on the audio track. Hope this was helpful.

Thanks a bunch!
Oh also, in case you don't know, you can use one-shots for the audiotrack.
