Is there any way to have a synthesizer arpeggiate just by programming the synth and not manually putting in the notes into the track?

There is an arp in Next. It’s called the matrix. Just plug it’s output into the note input on your synth. Then make a note track for the MATRIX. Select what type of pattern and note length and so on on the matrix.
You can just look up an arpeggiator on google and copy the notes to your piano roll.
As SirSplash said. In Next, this is what you want: https://www.audiotool.com/board/what_s_new/new_device_matrix_draf
In Flash, you could program notes in the Tonematrix if its pentatonic scale fits your needs, then connect its note output to the note input of the Pulverisateur or Heisenberg. Otherwise, you have to use a note region. But given how easy it is to loop them, it should not be too hard to get an arpeggio out of them.
Has more to do with an app function than sound design.
